Snack of the week: Chips and Salsa

Oh how I love chips and salsa!
I actually make my own chips. Simply pick up some whole wheat tortilla’s at the grocery store. Cut them into quarters, throw a little sea salt, lime juice, and olive oil on them. Put them under the broiler for about 8 minutes. Delicious!

Hey – I’m Irish, it’s St. Patrick’s Day…
and soda bread is a fabulous, easy-to-make snack. It’s versatile too, so whether you want it sweet or savory, you can change up the recipe to suit your tastes.
It’s called “soda” bread because it uses baking soda as the leavening agent instead of yeast.
