Yoga as Healing

Yoga is amazing. It’s healing, it’s meditative, and it benefits your body in so many ways.

It builds strength. It increases flexibility. It improves posture.

Yoga is also therapeutic, and healing.

I recently met Yoga Bear on Twitter. Yoga Bear is dedicated to providing cancer survivors opportunities for wellness through the practice of yoga.

Like many people, I’ve seen what cancer can do – the destruction to a physical body, a mental state and a spirit. If you have been touched by cancer, or know someone that has, consider joining Yoga Bear’s free online community.

Amazing folks hang out there and provide practice ideas, nutrition information, wellness information, insights and inspiration. You can also get matched to a studio in your local area.
